Privacy Policy

This policy explains what information Pawlito collects, why we collect it, and the choices you have. Last updated: September 19, 2026.

Information we collect

You can read every guide on Pawlito without creating an account or giving us any personal information. We only receive information when you choose to share it:

  • Questions you submit. When you use the “Submit a question” form, we ask for your name, email address, pet category, question text, and an optional photo. We use your email only to reply to your question.
  • Comments you post. When you comment on a guide, we store the name you type, the comment text, and the date. Comments and assistant replies are publicly visible on the article page.
  • Basic technical data. Like most websites, our hosting provider processes standard request data (such as IP address and browser type) for security and to deliver the site.

How we use your information

We use the information you provide to:

  • Answer your submitted questions and, when appropriate, publish them as helpful Q&A entries.
  • Show your comments and our assistant’s replies on the relevant guide.
  • Keep the site safe by preventing spam and abuse.

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use it for advertising profiles.

Photos you upload

Photos sent with a question are stored privately and shared only with the Pawlito team so we can answer you properly. A photo is shown publicly only if we publish your question, and only when the answer depends on it. Don’t upload photos that include other people without their permission.

Comments and public content

Comments are visible to everyone, so avoid including private details (address, phone number, full birth date) in them. If you’d like a comment removed, contact us and we’ll take care of it.

Third-party services

We rely on a small number of providers to run Pawlito: our database and hosting provider (which stores the content above), our AI provider (which drafts assistant replies to comments and generated guide articles), and a font delivery service. These providers process data only on our instructions and only as needed to operate the site.

Cookies

Pawlito does not use advertising or tracking cookies. Only essential, session-related storage is used to keep the site working.

Children's privacy

Pawlito is intended for a general audience and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, contact us and we will delete it.

Your choices

You can ask us at any time to correct or delete a question, photo, or comment you submitted. Email us with enough detail to find the content and we’ll handle your request promptly.

Changes to this policy

If we change this policy, we’ll update the date at the top of this page. Material changes will be highlighted on the site.
